Here I have created a practice montage, using footage from our short film, to see what sort of effect we could create and allowing myself and Mollie to gain a wider understanding of how montages work. I feel that by editing the different shots together we were able to build up the relationship between the two characters much quicker, meaning more time to develop the story and allowing us as a group to compress and save time which is needed when creating a short film. Also by adding non digetic sound over the top it enhances whats going on within the scene, dramatizing the piece.
